I was going through this feeling for quite awhile... like crying, freaking out, constantly asking if we could just elope and forget all of this BS. In hindsight, I would have been way more strict with our parents about keeping the guest list at 75 and the reception informal.
There is still time to do that. But your mom and Ben might be disappointed in that.
